The Dec 25 – Boston Celtics versus New York Knicks game is a battle between two of the top squads in the Eastern conference. As a result of their acquisition of Carmelo Anthony who was added to the squad after they got Amare Stoudemire, New York has appeared to be one of the best squads in the east. The two did fairly well together last season but this year is supposed to be fantastic for the squad.

Not only have they gained expertise to play with one another already which makes them more comfortable, they have acquired fantastic competitors to the lineup. Tyson Chandler who’s well-known for his defensive abilities is one person that will make a huge difference in their line up. Jst like what he did with Miami’s competitors in the Finals, he’ll make it hard for anyone who tries to get to the basket. Baron Davis is also an excellent inclusion for a squad who’s having difficulty at the point guard position. He’s supposed to make plays for Melo and Amare as well as Mike Bibby.

The Boston Celtics on the other hand are still pretty much the same squad that performed a year ago. They still have their main guys together which still means they are an intimidating squad but lately, none of their competitors have risen up to the occasion to take the squad to the stage that it was at when the squad won the NBA Finals. You really cannot count them out despite the fact that the squad is getting old. They might have a quality game and make the majority of their shots to win the game. But it’s very not likely.

If you’re confused which squad you should bet on, New York is a much better choice. The probabilities are in their favor despite the fact that the squad isn’t that synchronized yet considering of the explosiveness of their competitors and the better defense that Chandler brings to the squad.
